A Glimpse Behind the Curtain: Who is Joy Phillips?

Greetings! I am Erica Joy Phillips, CEO & owner of JP Creative. I am here to help you unlock the magic in your life by assisting you in identifying your needs, set tangible intentions & achieve your goals!

I offer individual & group motivational coaching, behavioral (mental) health consulting, grief & loss support and mental health/self-care workshops for groups & organizations.

I have worked in the behavioral health field for well over 20 years in positions with both private & public agencies. Some of my work includes time providing clinical counseling at a University Counseling Center, Life Skills Coach & Clinical Case Management, clinical case consultation, work in city government, state agencies and more!

Outside of work, I am a full-time single mother of two school-aged children, an avid lover of bike riding, dancing, listening to music, hiking at various State National Parks, and a super nerd of all thing’s history-related!

My life changed drastically in 2014 when my first-born child, my 4-year-old son passed away suddenly. I know both personally through lived experiences & professionally the need for healthy balance & support to get through life. Let me be that for you.
